I’m sure many of you are aware of David Beckham’s new 2ft tattoo on his right arm. Word on the street is that David is a huge Prison Break fan & the tattoo resembles Wentworth Miller’s tattoo in the hit TV Show.
The idea behind the tattoo is to make a continuous piece of artwork on David’s arm. It joins up with tattoos on his wrist, upper arm & shoulders.The tattoo was etched just before David left for LA on his Epic journey to join the LA Galaxy football team. Sources say the tattoo represents the deep inner turmoil about making the move to the states & also includes the words “Pray for Me” on the wrist.
“The tattoo is not something Victoria wanted him to go ahead with as she felt it would not be a good start to their time in LA, but David was adamant that he would show his true feelings about the move and stop covering it up, even if it is rather cryptic,” the source added.
The three words are inscribed next to another symbolic piece Beckham apparently wanted to reflect who he feels he has been for the past ten years – a Knight Templar, symbolised by a cross.
The Templar Knights, recognisable by their white mantle with distinct red cross, are for David the symbols of him and the England team.
He asked the tattoo artist to etch the Knight Templar on his arm as he “feels the knights were the best equipped, trained, and disciplined fighting units of the Crusades, just as he has always tried to be as a footballer representing his team of knights”.
The main tattoo on the forearm is a giant angel whose wings meet with the other tattoos. The angel also holds a flame in her hand. Also the words “Let them hate me as long as they fear me” which is a quote by the Roman emperor Tiberius.

And how original, he has jumped on the poularity of a subject while it’s at its peak.
At least he can kick, cos if not for that he would be serving fast food for the rest of his life if he was lucky. It is not just my dislike for the man prompting this response, that tattoo is genuinly a non physical form of masturbation (self gratification)

I think this tattoo is brilliant. He can call himself a knight, or whatever he likes for that matter. He has worked hard to get to where he is, not only in his football career but everything he does. If no one liked him then he wouldn’t have such a massive celebrity staus. Tattoos make a man look so hot and he has done good. He can carry the design off so well, he looks sexier than ever now.

I think that tattoo makes him look cool…the only problem is it doesn’t seem to be very professionally done or it’s been done very recently, maybe that’s why it looks that way.
