I think that a rosary tatoo on your ankle is not what is was ment to be . Maybe on your arm or your upper body, but your ankle? I think that this is disrespectful to Catholics. You do not need to tatoo your body with religios things in order to show you are religious. Maybe you are just trying to convince yourself and others that you are religious, when in fact you are not. I know some people like that. Just to make themselves feel better.

Missi girl i think your totally wrong…Open your perspective on tattooing a little further that what your eyes see…Fair enough SOME people may be trying to make themselves look to be something they are not…however others get tattoos in rememberance of others…I myself is a Catholic and i have no problem with anyone putting tattoos that represent the catholic religion on their body…Its there choice and why should YOU judge them.
Rant over.

Cheryl..I myself is a Catholic…it should be I myself am a Catholic.
Anyways, I wanted to get a cross on my lower back and my stepmom said “you’re going to put a cross on your butt?” She sort of freaked out!!
It really shouldn’t matter where you put it, as long as you know who you are and what you are.

I have started my ankle rosary tattoo and reading that negative comment just made me sure that it is what I want. I am not getting this tattoo to “look cool” or try to convince myself I am a good Catholic. Every time I look at the cross on my foot I am reminded of my faith, and that is a good enough reason for me to have it. I see it every single day. If I had one on other places on my body I probably wouldn’t see it as often. I am very content with the location I decided to put my tattoo and that is ridiculous of someone to think I am being disrespectful to people of the Catholic faith because of it. I think you are being disrespectful by assuming such a thing.

Catholics disrespect everyone in the world so F@#K them. They do not own the rights to beliefs of god and ways to show belief or worship. Get over yourselves.

“Mr. Hyde” you are a PIG.. What do you worship the devil? Everybody has the right to beleive what they want to beleive.. and you for one should keep your sick comments to yourself so get your head out the gutter and swallow your tongue..

I can’t see why you’d rant about this in the first place.
However i agree with Crystal. Hyde you basically took everyone whos a catholic and said we’re all like that?!?
Everyone has there own beliefs. I personally don’t go to church every sunday or anything but i am a catholic. i never disrespect anyone or there religion and i dont expect some nazi worshiping mother fucker to do it to me!!
10 this is hilarious. // Jun 18, 2009 at 7:17 pm
I honestly am in shock from reading these blatently ignorant posts where people are being overly critical about what others want to put on their bodies. WHY THE HELL DO YOU CARE? It really doesn’t make sense to me why people find the need to put others down. It is not against any religion to get a tattoo, if a person wants a rosary to represent them as a catholic, thats their business. If they want it as a design to express themselves, it shouldnt affect anyone. You dont have to like a tattoo, but you also dont need to try and ruin someones day over it. I mean it’s on their body forever, so don’t try and make them regret it. They obviously like it so follow the good old rule- if you can’t say anything nice, dont say anything at all.

Personally everyone gets rosary tattoos for many reasons.. not to show they are religious.. it could b anything from wanting a permanent reminder of their love for GOD or because its a way to remember an important or someone important in their lives that they believe wento heaven. So before you throw ur opinion of negativity out remember everyone has a reason and your gunna make urself look a little ignorant
